   Not a day goes by  without the obligatory question , "I wonder what The Hoff is doing right now?"  Hey! Don't lie! You ask yourself the same thing , and I'll tell you why ;  it's  because the guy just straight up rules....the cheese making union .  It's ponderous to think that he actually takes himself seriously. Does he? Either way, it makes me laugh.

   Anyway,  life hasn't been all that groovy for The Hoff lately . Seems he's going through a wicked divorce at the moment ,and well, you know what that means: Time to get rounded!  (Check out the video. What the heck is he saying?)

    It's always fascinating to stumble across the discarded artifacts of an average stranger's life ; be it letters and notes found on the sidewalk or paintings and  cassette recordings found in thrift stores.

   Who were ( or are)  these people? What kind of lives did they lead, and what were their hopes and dreams?  I guess these folks are you and me. ( I know that I've  lost some home recordings and letters along the way.)  And in part, that is what this journal web-site deal is all about.

     Here  is an interweb site  that collects some of these "found" recordings. I like to think of it as a  home to the lonely recorded flotsam out there. Yeah, some of it is sure stupid and boring, but some can be humorous and enlightening and puzzling.  That's life.  ( Check out the WFMU Radio link. The fella used to produce a radio show based on "found" recordings. It's cool! )
