Time-lapse of foggy February 8th in San Francisco, California

You've probably seen this a million times, but don't you want to watch it again? That would be a great movie, though; skeletons of pirates come to life in the fog and take over San Francisco and junk. I think it's already been made. No, what about a crime-fighting seagull that rides the fog; like Jonathon Livingston Seagull, but it chain smokes and is all hagged-out like Clint Eastwood. And carries a 45. The seagull and the tiger in the zoo have a lengthy philosophical arguement about crime and punishment, which is pretty boring and takes up most of the film and sucks. There should've been more hammer-downs on crooked cops and ratty schemers alike. More hammer-downs on the people who shit on the front porch. |

Port of San Francisco

Pretty awesome building. It's home to a bunch of foodies now. High priced sons-of-guns. There is a cheese maker from the Redding area that sells his cheese at this "artisan" cheese shop in the Ferry Building. Also an organic cattle rancher from Mt. Shasta.. It's like, who can afford it? That would be a fresh session, though; save up some money and go down there and eat.
Anyway, do you ever read the BLDBLG? The Port of San francisco area was once a cove. The original shoreline was over near First St. and ran along to Montgomery and then down to Battery and such. Ships were abandoned in the cove when gold was discoverd. "I'm just waiting for some rare and world-destroying virus to be found, festering away in the subterranean hold of an abandoned schooner, forgotten by city historians... Some random |

Sunday morning.
I didn't know that this area was mostly sand dunes before it became Golden Gate Park. "The first stage stabilized the ocean dunes that covered three-quarters of the park area with tree plantings. By 1875, about 60,000 trees, mostly Blue Gum Eucalyptus, Monterey pine and Monterey cypress, were planted. By 1879, that figure more than doubled to 155,000 trees over 1,000 acres (4 km²). Later McLaren scoured the world through his correspondents for trees." |

Heh, good question. How is the verb 'smoking' being used?
